  • Questions you hear will be questions you're asked

      When you hear someone in a TOEFL conversation, class discussion, or lecture ask a question, TOEFL will probably ask you the same question.

  • Anticipate questions

      We'll teach you what phrases the TOEFL listening section uses when it introduces information that you might be asked about.

  • Note taking

      The listening content is not as difficult as the reading content. So if you know how to take good notes, you will most likely be able to answer all the questions correctly. We will teach you the note-taking strategy that works best for you.

  • Focus on what you know, not what you don't know

      TOEFL tries to convince you that you do not have enough information to answer the questions. It does this by tricking you into focusing on the vocabulary and grammar that it knows you don't know. So instead, we teach you how to ignore those traps and to instead focus on what you do know.

  • Learn relevant idioms

      TOEFL mostly tests idioms on the Listening section of the test. We teach you which types of idioms the iBT tends to use most.
